This course is part of a three level passport program that includes introduction, intermediate, and expert use of Micro:bits.
Students in this program series will learn the basics of coding with the MakeCode Editor. Students will learn to understand and work with inputs/outputs, various onboard sensors and buttons, programming sound, loops, conditionals, comparisons, Boolean, and setting or using variables. Students will also learn how to make use of extensions such as servo break-out boards, LED wheels, relays, and additional sensors such as those for moisture, light, and more. This is a great way for students to jump into the world of coding, microprocessors, and robotics while learning and being challenged with new concepts.
